Thao Porter is an experienced accounting professional with a diverse background in both accounting management and software implementation. My professional journey began in the software development industry at Avetta while I pursued a master’s degree in accountancy at the University of Phoenix. Over the years, I’ve overseen daily accounting operations across a variety of industries, including SaaS, manufacturing, retail/wholesale, and e-commerce.
I have also been deeply involved in software implementation projects, successfully managing transitions such as converting from Sage to Acumatica, QuickBooks to NetSuite, and Navision to Business Central. My experience has allowed me to develop a strong skill set in both accounting practices and technology solutions, enabling businesses to optimize their financial processes.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exploring new recipes and cooking with my two daughters, as well as spending quality time with my family.
