Before launching Prospera Financial, Chad was the COO and Senior Financial Advisor at Chrysalis Wealth Management, where he oversaw operations while the company doubled assets under management in just five years. He also expanded the firm’s reach from four to seven locations and implemented consistent operations and financial processes that set a new standard for the industry.
At Stifel Nicholas & Company, Chad cultivated strong client relationships and developed personalized financial strategies that aligned with client goals and risk tolerance. His role as an Agency Business Consultant at Farmers Insurance and Financial saw him driving organizational change through consultative strategies in branding, operations, staffing, and marketing.
Chad’s journey in finance began with roles like Commercial Relationship Manager at U.S. Bank and Vice President and Branch Manager at Legacy Bank, where he achieved asset growth and profitability targets by developing new bank branches and managing financial operations.
He holds a Diploma of Graduation from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, with a concentration in Asset and Liability Management. Chad also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Management, with a minor in Business Administration, from Colorado State University–Pueblo.
He has achieved multiple licenses include FINRA Series 6, 7, 26, 63, and 66 licenses, as well as the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) Designation. He also holds various insurance licenses in Property & Casualty, Life, and Health.
Chad is actively involved in the community, serving as a Director and Trustee for the CSU-Pueblo Foundation and the Pueblo Economic Development Foundation. He chairs the Pueblo County Business Resource Oversight Commission and is a Finance Committee Member for both the YMCA of Pueblo and the Pueblo City/County Library Foundation.
Outside of work, Chad enjoys snowboarding, spending time with his family, and searching for his golf ball in the rough. Most of all, he loves helping his clients achieve financial peace of mind through strategic decision-making.
